"Chicago, this awesome play, presented by the Great River Players, was definitely a big city production. All aspects of this play including lighting, props, sound, scenery, costumes, and especially the acting went beyond small town theatre performances. Behind the scenes the band also had a great impact on the greatness of this play. The singing and dancing throughout the play were flawless. "Captivated" was the word to describe the audience's response throughout the play. Rapid scene changes did not leave room for lack of interest, and laughter and applause continously filled the theatre. Shame on you people of this area who did not attend this performance that was way beyond expectations of local or professional talent. I have attended many Broadway shows in big cities and this performance was truely comparable or better than any of them. Congratulations to all who were involved in this theatre production"  Carla Nebright, Keokuk.

“One Enchanted Evening” turned into “One Enchanted Afternoon” at the Grand Theatre on Sunday. As one who enjoys all the musical productions at the Grand, from the children’s theaters to the high school productions and beyond, I appreciate all the work you do to make these productions possible. It never ceases to amaze me the amount of talent in our area. To all involved in the production and performance, thanks for a great show."
